Alice Springs Women’s Shelter (ASWS) provides a number of exciting opportunities for anyone seeking to work with women and children in a supportive and rewarding environment.
ASWS and the Outreach team offer a variety of services, but are always looking to expand their service to better provide for the women and children who access our organisation.
We have a large range of portfolio’s at ASWS including:
- Interagency Family Support Meeting (FSM) Officer,
- Court Support Officer,
- Community Development and Education Facilitator, Policy and Law Reform Officer,
- Events and CAFVSAN (Central Australian Family Violence and Sexual Assault Network) Facilitator, as well as
- Outreach Workers who visit and support women and children in their community.
We value each staff member’s contribution to our service and provide a workplace that is both flexible and family friendly. Depending on need, employment can be offered on a full-time, part-time or casual basis.
Due to the nature of the work, only female applications are accepted.
Volunteers are also encouraged to apply.
